I am from the beautiful island of St. Thomas, the island lifestyle is very different. When I moved to America for college at Bethune Cookman University, I saw these aspects to be overwhelming. From this frustration, I drew my inspiration. My inspiration also originates from my island roots. My accent is as heavy as my heart.
