I've been playing guitar for 16 years. I started self taught, but since I was in band all through middle school and high school it was my third instrument. I already knew how to read music and had basic music fundamentals before I picked it up. Years later I began studying music in college, took several music production courses, and ended up going to Cal State Northridge to study music performance on classical guitar. I have been a guitarist for my band AHTCK for almost five years.

I have a Fender Stratocaster and a Diamond Series Schecter played through a Marshall AVT2000. I use an SM57 on the amp and record using Reaper. Also have the typical effects pedals: distortion, overdrive, delay, chorus, reverb, wah, and so on.
