Born in Italy and grew up with all kind of music around, my father playing almost all instruments.
My first love has been George Gershwin, then I discovered gospel, blues, jazz, swing, soul and with it the wonderful voices of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, then Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, to mention the few I quickly have in mind.
I sing without stopping.
I've been told I have the perfect pitch.
My voice is powerful, though smooth and sounds like velvet depending on songs. And I have a pretty good range.
I sing, speak, read and write in 3 languages (Italian, English, French)
I read music and partitions.
