Musician, Producer, Audio Engineer, Songwriter, Composer, Publisher
After many years as a musician and inspired by the vibrant developments of the 1990s, particularly the rise of electronics and computer technology in the music scene, I realized that an epochal change was on the horizon. I understood that computers and technology would soon dominate the future of music. Recognizing this transformative potential, I decided to embrace the challenge in 1998. I began learning to incorporate these new tools into my compositions, opening up a world of new possibilities and horizons.
Just two years later, in 2000, my first musical production, a song titled "Song for Violin" (which was a commercial dance track), was purchased for approximately €90,000 and released on Atlantic Records, Blanco y Negro Records, Scorpio Music, and other European labels. This success led to many collaborations, including remixes for the "Gap Band" and a project for Rai Trade, a publishing company associated with an Italian national TV station, which featured my music in various documentaries and commercials.
Given my diverse musical influences—ranging from soundtracks to house music and chillout—I felt a strong need to create more projects that would allow me to express myself freely across different musical styles while minimizing confusion for listeners who might prefer one genre over another.
Brief description of some projects.
On Piano
In 2018, On Piano was born, a music project for solo Piano in neoclassical style. Frank Iengo composed most of the compositions for this project, but collaborations with other artists, such as Virginio Aiello, Dario Crisman, and others, embellished the project.
LIBSTOK.
This project, which arrived a year after the first release of “On Piano” (2019), retains the same concept as its predecessor (background music), with the difference that the leading instrument is the guitar and the songs are all improvisations of the moment.
RelaxingVibe.
As the name already announces, RelaxingVibe is a project-oriented project purely towards the sounds of relaxing music, sleep music, meditation music, music for study, etc.
Pynk64.
A project combines house music sound with the interweaving of guitars in a Pink Floyd-style atmosphere.
