Vocalist, Musician, Audio Engineer, Songwriter, Lyricist: A self taught multi-instrumentalist (rhythm guitar, bass and drums) and singer/songwriter I began writing poetry very early in life. My first published poem was at the age of 9 and had 2 more poems published in later years. As a teenager I realized I wished to marry my love of words to my love of music. I had begun my journey as a drummer at 13 or 14 but eventually realized that drums were not the best instrument for songwriting. Trying to tell the guys about a new song I would say something akin to "it goes like this oh baby boom boom crash crash". My enthusiasm was met with blank faces disbelieving stares and a sarcastic question of "What chords or what key?" if any comment at all. So I learned to play guitar and eventually bass to be able to "flesh out" my ideas. I never really discovered my voice until our lead singer walked offstage in the middle of a big show in Sai Gon and I stepped up to the mic. That was years ago and there are literally thousands of shows behind me now. In my 20's I studied at Trebas Institute of Recording Arts in Toronto and worked in Promo/PR for some Indie Labels. I have sold a number of songs but no hits yet. :)
