I mainly write music for the fun and enjoyment of it, most of the music I write is semi-autobiographical, I'll take a point from my past, bring it forward to modern times, adding a twist of fiction into them, but keeping the connection or emotion of the song. Unfortunately, I do all the vocals. My voice is not the best and would never proclaim myself as "A Singer", all I do is add vocals onto my songs to give an idea of how I would like it to sound.
Recently, my friends and family have commented on how catchy some of my songs are becoming and they have encouraged me to kick it up a notch and start taking my music a bit more seriously, hence my reason for me being on here. As I said, my vocals (and some lyrics) are not the best and if I could collaborate with lyricists and singers, I believe my music could be presented at a commercial level.
I have no interest in performing, if possible, I'd rather them be performed by other artists/ bands so I can continue my writing, letting the pro's deal with the final processes and polishing them up for the commercial market.
