I enjoy Songwriting, Composing, Arranging, writing Lyrics, and playing Piano/Keyboards/Bass. I am also an artist, working in acrylics and digital art. For cover art, I also enjoy using AI-generated art, but that can be a jumping-off place for a digital art piece, not necessarily the final product.
I am a multi-instrumentalist. Keyboards/piano is my first love, but also play bass guitar. Currently learning guitar and fiddle. I have a simple home studio with a small recording booth (converted closet) suitable for recording my vocals, but I'm a bit reluctant as a vocalist, singing because I need lyrics song on my music. As I get more proficient and experienced in vocals, I expect I'll feel more confident, there.
As of this writing, I have four songs on Spotify: three remixes that placed in a remix contest for German EDM artist Marco L. and one original Country Christmas song I wrote thirty years ago. The cover art for that song, "For Children, Christmas Day Begins at Midnight" started as a color photograph taken with an iPhone by a friend and I heavily "photoshopped" it (using Paint.net)
Instruments:
Pianos: on hand, one fairly out-of-tune, but might be good for a honky-tonk sound.
Nektar Midi Controller: 88-key Impact GXP88. I can use this for various piano sound VSTs. Some are quite good. Also, a wide variety of synth VSTs.
Korg Collection 3: VSTs, but emulations of the original hardware of several Korg synths, created by the company, itself.
Bass: 5-string bass guitar.
Guitars: Acoustic/electric Ovation guitar.
Fiddle: Not gonna lie. One of the cheapest violins I could find on Amazon. This was just to try my hand at it. Aliyes Electric/Acoustic for about $110.
Production Assets: Various production sound libraries, including one for Pedal Steel Guitar from Loopmasters which is great for country music.
DAW: Currently using Waveform Tracktion (Free edition). Can easily export things as stems for pulling into other DAWs, tho.
