I got my start playing cello in the 6th grade (I would like to thank John Williams’ Star Wars compositions for getting me interested in music at all, and thanks to Mrs. Hautzenroeder for being an amazing and patient teacher).

I finally picked up the guitar at 13 after avoiding the pleas of my father for years, and now I’m a fourth-generation guitarist in my family. Since then I’ve been working on expanding my palette of genres, techniques, instruments, and influences over the past 15+ years.
