54 years old. Long time lead guitar player. I listen to everything from classic rock from the 1970s all the way through to the very latest in symphonic metal. Move down here from Dallas a few years ago; left an amazing band behind me and and find myself ready to meet new people and start new collaborations. I have also put out 2 CD's under the name "Stone Merrick". The first was called Ruler of the Seas and was and instrumental album save one song. The second was called To the end of the Sky and was 100% vocal symphonic metal. As far as equipment goes, I have been using Studio 1 for a decade. I run a baby face pro, and use a Revv 100p into a Two Notes Captor X for guitar. I exclusively play Aristides 060 and 070 guitars. For bass guitar I use the Getty Lee Fender Jazz through a Getty Lee Sans Amp 2112. When writing here in my home studio, I use superior drummer from ToonTrack. I also use a Nektar panorama P6 as my MIDI keyboard and generally find myself using Native Instruments for strings, orchestra, synthesizer, and sound effects.

I decided to upgrade on this site because I want to collaborate with other musicians. Music gets into your blood And no matter how much you might you might think what's the point, eventually the urge to create overtakes you and you find yourself back at it once again. I have no idea what my what I might find here on this site but I will be hopeful. Hit me up if you if you like anything you hear or you want my help or input on something you're doing.
