Ho, Ho, Ho, it’s time for a Christmas Challenge with a twist.
We all love Santa (well I hope we do......) and how he joyfully brings presents for children all over the world who have been good during the year. And while it would be great to have a challenge about the joys of the season, this year we are going to look at it from a slightly different perspective.
Say hello to Krampus.
For those of you who have no idea who he is, let me give you some background.
In Central European folklore, Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic (just look it up) figure described as “half-goat, half-demon”, who during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved during the year, in complete contrast the the loveable Santa, who rewards the well behaved with a gift. What better topic for a seasonal tune :-)
So, for this years Xmas Challenge, you just have to write a song with Krampus as the main theme.
No other rules to restrict you, be as creative as you can - go dark, be humourous, tell a scary story, maybe it’s about the relationship between Krampus and Santa - you choose.
As Christmas is not that far away, the deadline for completion will be December 31st.
Come on everyone, get involved, get a project started and invite some other ProCollabers onboard and let’s join in the conversation and support everyone who comes to the party.
As usual, there will be badges and $ credits for everyone who joins in.
Oh, and let me be the first to say Merry Xmas to you all (well someone has to start it........).
Any questions, just post them below and good luck, I’m looking forward to some great tracks.
And here's the tracks we’ve got so far, check them out they’re pretty cool.

Krampus was such a good movie, pretty spooky! I love this concept, it's kinda like Halloween meets Christmas. :)
OK. I started one. Work in progress https://www.procollabs.com/project/1866
