Hey ProCollabers! It's that holly jolly time of year again and we have just the thing for you!
Today we are very excited to announce our 2023 Christmas Song Challenge! :-)
Criteria Below:
1) Create a cover song using one of the ten public domain songs titles below:
Deck the Halls
Hark, the Herald Angels Sing
Jingle Bells
Jolly Old St. Nicholas
Joy to the World
O Christmas Tree
The First Noel
Toyland
Up on the Housetop
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
2) Your song must include the original lyrics as written. No parody songs and no instrumental or spoken word projects.
3) Your project and completed song must include at least two ProCollabs collaborators. Solo projects are not eligible.
4) Your project must be a ‘Public’ project so that the community can listen to your creations along the way.
5) Your original cover art must include the colors green, red and white in it and should be Christmas themed.
6) Songs must be completed and published to the ProCollabs Music Store no later than 11:59pm (EST) on December, 23rd 2023.
Everyone who completes the challenge gets a new profile badge and a $10.00 ProCollabs credit, good for renewals, upgrades, etc.
Please Note: If you submit your song after the deadline, you won’t be eligible for the PC credit or Grammy – No Exceptions!
It would be great to see you all get involved, so make sure to reach out to other members, send invites, etc.

You can create your song in any musical style, but the lyrics and basic vocal melody should remain intact. Key changes are fine.
