Today we are excited to announce our 2024 Christmas Song Challenge! :-)

Criteria Below:

1) Create an original, 100% written, recorded and produced Christmas themed song using any song title that you like.

2) Your song must include lyrics and vocals that tie to your song title choice. No instrumental or spoken word projects.

3) Your song lyrics must include at least six of the twelve words listed below in your final composition. Or use them all! ;-)

Elf
Frosty
Gift
Grinch
Holly
Santa
Sleigh
Snowman
Stockings
Tinsel
Wreath

4) Your project and completed song must include at least two ProCollabs collaborators. Solo projects are not eligible.

5) Your project must be a ‘Public’ project so that the community can listen to your creations along the way.

6) Your original cover art must include the colors green, red and white and should be Christmas themed.

7) Songs must be completed and published to the ProCollabs Music Store no later than 11:59pm (EST) on December, 23rd 2024.

Everyone who completes the challenge gets a new profile badge and a $10.00 ProCollabs credit, good for renewals, upgrades, etc.

Please Note: If you submit your song after the deadline, you won’t be eligible for the PC credit or Grammy – No Exceptions!

It would be great to see you all get involved, so make sure to reach out to other members, send invites, etc.

A Christian song could still work. The lyrics could say the true meaning of Christmas doesn't need...(reference six words that must be included in the song to complete the challenge). ;-)

Did I miss something?  Did someone tell you that you couldn't write about Christianity or religion?  I see a deleted post above yours, so not sure if you're referring to something that someone else posted?  

I might be wrong, but are you talking about the message that is below the challenge title?  The one that says 'No politics. No religion'?  That is just a general statement pinned above all forum posts.  It has nothing to do with the music you write/create or post on ProCollabs.   You can write a song about anything your heart desires, it has nothing to do with the forum rules.
