Cover songs where never my thing. There were a few that I played over the years, but originals were my thing since I was a little kid. But.....despite the shortage of time I have these days, a cover song sounds easy enough. I wouldnt need to write it or learn it. If there's anyone doing a hard Rock cover of Alice Cooper, Bowie, Cheap Trick, or any tasty rock song from that era, I can probably do bass, maybe sing, do some keys, or whatever.  I wanted to do Halo of Flies by Alice Cooper, but that's a complicated 8 minute song. It would be a nightmare to reproduce. My Stars was also considered but also has major challenges esspeically in the lead guitar department (at least for me). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0DRD31c6Nk

If anyone has any intention of doing a hard rock song from that era, I would give it a try

Hi everyone! I have created a project for the Winter Challenge called 'Sine from Above' - please join in. I am happy to go with either a dance version, rock version or if someone wants to create acoustic, that is also fine. The lyrics and melody won't change. (But I can rerecord vocals so they're a bit better. I just wanted to give a demo for idea). Happy for people to join in with what they can. https://www.procollabs.com/project/3367
