I didn't even see this forum post. Wow, that is a great looking guitar, too bad I don't play.

Haha! Would that really work? It can be a new invention called the Guilele.

I forget how the uke is tuned but I suppose...

Funny story, but... I was in the 99 cent store (yes they do exist in Brooklyn) and I saw a cheap little guitar for $5.99 (yeah it's a 99+ cent store) and when I picked it up, I kind of felt intimidated by it. I know it sounds silly but I feel so much more confident with my Uke - most likely because it only has 4 strings.

You are most likely a bass player then :)

That pic is a stock photo. Mine is actually like a cobalt blue. Here's a pic of some of my instruments (my bedroom wall)...Dani, you will see my baritone uke there too! Fun little instrument. I installed a pickup in it so I can run it thru my mulit effects processor - very cool effects on a uke!

put a capo on the 5th fret of a guitar and the tuning is the same as a ukulele on the last 4 strings. The difference is the 4th string on a uke is an octave lower. but you could play uke on a guitar like this.

@goodvibes - Bass? They only have 4 strings? Haha, kidding I actually knew that - no really I did!!!

@tpistilli - wow, they are really cool looking. I'd be afraid to hang any instruments on my walls, especially with my fighting neighbors next door. Very cool uke - I heard the Baritone uke is similar in sound to a guitar. I have a Tenor uke, and really love the sound of it - just have to learn more than 4 chords.
