having no success uploading a cover for a project. I've tried png and jpg to no avail. The guidelines mention a min size but not a max- the image in jpg form is 2121x2121 and 320dpi-is this too large?

I reduced the size of the png to 1500 square still wouldn't load. however a jpg of the same size does. So problem solved but maybe worth looking into?

Best guess is that it was due to the image file size. That has now been increased and hopefully resolves the issue. If you feel like testing that theory out for me, be my guest, you can see if your original file uploads now :)
The reason why the jpg worked when the png didn't, even though they were the same size pixel-wise, is that jpgs generally produce smaller file sizes.

Just tested it it's fine now . The file in question is 3.22 meg the jpg is approx 1.6 so looks like plenty of space for hi res art. Thanks for all the help
