I tried uploading a MIDI file earlier. I think there might be an issue with the upload conversion process because my DAW could not import the MIDI file after downloading the same file from my project later. Has anyone else seen this behaviour? If not, maybe someone else could attempt the same procedure to see if the "real issue" is just me. ;)

Hey Ryan. If you upload a midi file, it shouldn't be converted or altered in any way. So if you are downloading it and its not working then there is a problem.

Did you check if the original file that you uploaded does actually import after you have exported it?

Let me know if you find there is a problem and I'll look in to it more.

I just downloaded your midi file and played it back in Windows Media Player. So I think the file is working?

Thanks Lee. That makes sense. I was able to import the original file after exporting it, but I seem to run into problems after downloading it again.

It might be the midi options you chose. I downloaded your midi file and it seemed to playback (don't have access to a DAW). I remember in the past exporting a midi file and using the wrong settings, and then it wouldn't import as it should. So might be your export settings? Otherwise, not sure!

Okay, thanks for checking Lee. I'll try troubleshooting things further on my end. It's probably just another one of my "1D10T" errors. I get them from time to time. Hehe...

"I seem to run into problems after downloading it again."
May you explain exactly what happened? I guess I can help.

Thanks Xan. I can import the original MIDI file that I exported from my DAW, but not the one I download from the project.
