Haha......My Mum liked the New Seekers. Still at least my Dad was into rock music........ so I was brought up on Clapton, Cream, Hendrix, Stones etc, I was into soul music until he took me to see Led Zeppelin when I was 14 - well that was that really............... it influenced me to buy a guitar :)

Ha, sounds like my household growing up. There was always music playing. I had a huge family and every family member we'd visit, different music was playing, hence my love for almost every genre.

Okay, I'm heading out but since you mentioned soul - I just had to share this last one. This is one of my favorite chorus hooks ever!

Sorry... Still on the Toto high from the other night! ;-) Always loved this beat, but hearing it and watching up close has me wanting to learn it properly on the drum kit. I think I am in WAY over my head! lol

Noooooooooo!!! Oh my aching heart.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is my all-time favorite movie. I must have watched it at least 100 times, no kidding. Sigh. :(

It's a sad day for sure. ;-( My favorite line... “So much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.” :-)
