Well, I'm not exactly a newcomer here, but I have been away from this site for way too long.
Great people that I missed jamming with, and an awesome, easy to understand site, plus incredibly talented people that I've never heard of before can only be a GREAT recipe for an online collab heaven :)
My talents are mainly singing and playing guitar, but I have been complimented on my mixes before.. So I guess I can mix.
But I hate mixing, so I'm always looking for a way out of it..I 'd rather sing my arse out than mes with EQs, compressors, and god knows whats

Basically, find a project where someone is looking for mixing or mastering, (you can do this from the projects page, by talent) download the production ready tracks, do a mix (usually as an audition, unless you have been invited), then wait of feedback.
You can message the project director directly or leave a comment in the comment box. Some auditions are private, so nobody else sees/hears what you do unless it is accepted. Others are public, so everyone sees and can listen.
If your audition is accepted, you are then part of the project team.
Best thing is to jump right in and get involved, and just ask if you are not sure, everyone is really friendly and helpful :)
