Piano and Keyboards. Writing performing but mostly recording music on and off for about 20 years. I have tracked mixed mastered and performed all sorts of supportive roles for a number of Canadian groups and solo artists including QED out of Winnipeg, RC Sindicate, FMB, Will Belcourt, Moe Burg and Pursuit of Happiness just to name a few.
I am currently focused on Mastering projects for folks that need a competitive sound and a specific tone they are trying to achieve with as good or better than anything coming out of pricey L.A. or New York based Mastering Suites. I believe having a good collection of songs is the most important thing. What I do is really just finishing the last 10 percent of all your hard work. So in conclusion if you want that extra sonic edge on your next project try mastering by Paradox. paradoxcanada@outlook.com

A pair of YAMAHA Monitors my B Monitors are Passive Alesis Monitor Ones (Original Version) with Original Amp. Some outboard gear includes Drawmer M500, TUBE TECH Comp, LEXICON Delay. I can get almost any outboard pieces. So if you are looking for a specific sound I have access to a number of high end facilities and getting special pieces is not usually a problem. Roland R8 with 12 separate outputs. My R8 has the original chip, not many around with that chip and it is usually the first layer for my drum sound. Pink Floyd used the Roland R8 units for "MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON" and you can hear it on every project after Momentary Lapse. For Ableton I use an AKAI APC40 controller for obvious reasons. I also have a small MACKIE Board. My hardware synths include a Roland FANTOM G7 Workstation. Supernatural Electric Piano expansion. An old OBx and Roland A88 Keyboard for controlling all the software synths and for performances that need 88 fully weighted keys. I also use a MASCHINE Mk2 Unit and NI KOMPLETE. My favorite Soft Synth is Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2. The Fender Bass multi on that monster is unreal. I have never heard such authentic sounds from any other software or hardware product. I know bass players that can not tell the difference from tracks done using Omnisphere and scratch parts using the "real" instrument. (We did this with a Fender Bass) Omnisphere is also the goto software solution for many film score guys. glenallan1@live.ca
