I'm kind of semi-retired. I've been doing this for such a long time it's wound up that I do it all from tech to studio design, session work and everything in-between. It keeps me busy and happy.

I started as a session musician in the 80's and fell into the biz. I've been very fortunate in that I started when it was pretty much all analog and stayed on top of the tech all the way through. I keep a low profile these days. The work is always there but sometimes I just want take my time and pick out projects that I like. I just love music and as I said I've been very fortunate in my career, so, when I can, I do what I can to give back and help.

I own my own small studio and continue on a "pick and choose" what I want to do basis.

When I was all over the place chasing the work, it took a heavy toll on my health and family. People don't understand the full price of constant calls and endless travel for sessions. Which is why I don't do that anymore.

I like being my own boss and having time for a life outside of the industry.

My door is always open to artists who need help. I'm no genie with unlimited time or funds, but I do what I can.

I have a fully equipped small professional studio and use many cutting edge tools to record, mix or master music. I use Digital Performer as my main DAW but also have Logic Pro, Reason, Mixbuss 3, Pro Tools and then some. I use Apogee convertors and and have both an analog and digital board. I have NS10's, Mackie HR8's, JBL, Neumann and Event monitor speakers for various stages of recording/mixing. I have a ton of Roland and Korg keyboards and rack synths. I have Many new and a few vintage pieces of outboard gear for out of the box processing and I have many virtual synths including Kontact, Omnisphere 2, Arturia instruments, the new sound modeling designer Falcon and many Waves, UAD, Nomad, MOTU and other various plugs. Yep, I'm a crazy man with a studio.
