Description: Hey, my name is Connor Hardt and I am a music producer. Just recently a family member of mine pass away, so I decided to produce a song in memory of her. I call it Afterlife. However, I would like to bring in a vocalist to add some lyrics and vocals to my mix. Please let me know if you are interested in helping me with this.
Project brief: 1. This song will be titled Afterlife, so the lyrics need to fit that theme. The order of the song is this: Intro, Verse 1, Chorus, Instrumental, Verse 2, Chorus, Instrumental, Verse 1, End. There should be no lyrics during the instrumentals. I'm thinking of having the lyrics say something like, "I hope to see you in the Afterlife." Maybe also ask questions during the verses of the song like, "Are you singing up in heaven? Are you looking down from the stars? Are you dancing with the angels? Are you happy from where you are?" I put some lyric ideas in the lyrics section if you'd like to take a look for some more help. I am not a professional at lyric writing, so I hope you'd be willing to help with this. I will do my best to give as much info as needed, so we can go in the right direction with lyrics. 2. I prefer that you edit your own vocals since I believe each artist has their own style and knows their own voice the best. I don't specialize in vocal mixing and mastering, so it'd be perfect if you could do that. (The music is mixed and mastered already). 3. I'm looking for someone who is serious about music, so we can provide top-quality music to our listeners. Also, I prefer working with people who are on Spotify and Apple Music so I can credit them when releasing the song. 4. I don't have a set deadline, but I'd like to release this song as soon as possible. 5. I make it a top priority to provide my listeners with great sounding music that is also clean. That being said, I ask each vocalist to leave out any swearing when collaborating with me. If you can do all this, then please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you!
