Project Summary

Description: Im just bored and figured I'd help some people out!

Project brief: **IM DOING THIS FOR FREE, PLEASE, I ASK THAT I AM CREDITED (ft. 地球 3rth) AND I HOLD PARTIAL RIGHTS TO THE SONG** I mix and write in sort of a sad style, along the lines of Powfu, Snøw, Rxseboy, SadBoyProfilic etc. I also produce in a trap style similar to those like Drake. I have a couple of quick Q&A's as well as a bio, please check it out before audiotioning! Hello! I'm a 15 year old producer here in the US and have been messing around with melodies since I was 6yrs old. I've collabed with numerous people and fell in love with the art of it to the point where I want to do more. Im currently in school for sound engineering and hope thats what I go to collage for. I work in Logic Pro X as well as Pro Tools (I prefer Logic and rarley use Pro Tools). Lets make a hit! *Work as of now is free, I'm just starting out with collabs and dont have too much experience. *I AM NOT a writer when it comes to lyrics as I usually write about my personal life. *I AM NOT a singer or rapper. *I don't have too many mixes publicly released due to either school, or just general me being annoyed when I attempt to rap/sing. ***IF YOU DO NEED A DEMO, I WILL BE GLAD TO PROVIDE. MY SOUNDCLOUD IS FULL OF SOME. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role? A: Probably my ongoing project with KJ, made some good beats and he is SUCH an EXTREMELY underrated rapper. Q: What are you working on at the moment? A: Im currently working on a project with Kaden Jordan! Q: Analog or digital and why? A: Both, there wouldnt be digital without analog and digital is more convinient. I've worked with both types, differences being ones more physical (eg. real sliders) and ones more digital (eg. sliders on screen). Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients? A: I'll deliver, I wont drop you. I'll also try not to waste too much of your time. Q: What do you like most about your job? A: ITS FUN. I enjoy producing and couldnt be happier at ANY job. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer? A: Probably somthing along my past. Im ok sharing that information, but prefer not to, not until I really know someone. Also, "Make me a few beats in [this] [this] and [this] genre." Please try to stick with one, im already really busy :) Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do? A: Right now, either my age or pricing. I guess its not common for a 15yr old to professionally produce? Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients? A: What their favorite artist is, or maybe what genre they produce in. Its essential to know this, couldnt make a song without it. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you? A: I don't know. I mean, research, look into their bio, and test stuff out. Only thing is I don't necessarily enjoy it when people make ME pick what to do (eg. "I dont know what to make, send me a beat and I'll do somthin"), athough I love producing in my own style. Im confusing... Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be? A: All (or most) of my music gear, literally couldnt live without it. Wait how would I get power... Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this? A: I've been doing this since I was a kid. Sure, producing back then to me was just mashing keys in Garageband on my moms iMac and calling it a song, but a while ago (around age 8) I made the decision to professionaly produce and enjoy other artists work. I long to get a degree in music, and am currently in school for audio engineering! Q: How would you describe your style? A: Ooo... I prefer chill, lofi, soft piano kinda beats. I also enjoy the harder hitting stuff! Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why? A: I dont have a specific artist in mind, im open to all! Q: Can you share one music production tip? A: Make every song better than the previous ones. You'll end up surprised pretty quickly! Q: What type of music do you usually work on? A: Rap, Lofi, Pop, and some of the sub-generes of that. Q: What's your strongest skill? A: BEATS. Also learning. I love warping and adjusting myself to my clients. Q: What do you bring to a song? A: I try to bring things too a song that the lyricist is feeling. I personally dislike having a super upbeat song with a subject on somthing like deppression (unless the dtory is happy...) Q: What's your typical work process? A: Hmm... typical work process... I guess I start off by learning about my client. Then I'd ask what they have in mind, maybe a style, a similarity to a song, or a mood. Then I'd quickly make some scratch beats and see what they like when it comes to progressions and melodies. Once they pick what they like, I give my client some time to write a short bit of lyrics over it, mess around with that bit, and if they make the decision... we make the song. Depending on the person the projects may go differently, but its all easy, I can ensure it! Q: Tell us about your studio setup. A: Its a simple setup in my room. Here is a list of gear: Desk: Some sorta desk off Amazon. Its double decked and looks very nice! Speakers: PreSonus Eris 3.5 (My room is small, so I didnt need to go big.) *I do have a dedicated sub: Sony Sa-wmsp4 100W Mic: Tascam TM-80 (I may do vocal sampling, instrument recording, and more with this.) Audio Interface/Live Mixer: Harbinger LV8 Headset(s): Audio-Technica ATHM40x, Beats Solo Wireless Computer: Mac Mini (2014-15 Model, Heavily Modified) Software: Logic Pro X Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you? A: Powfu, Snøw, and others similar are big ones for me. Kaden Jordan is also one that I managed to collab with! Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients. A: I mostly write the beat/melody side of things. Not much else I can say.
