Lyrics

Hello, Is this really me? Why does the world feel so empty? Peering inside, I see shadows hide. Is that little me? buried deep. Under a graveyard of emotions. I’m here to set you free. Why are you turning away? Are you ashamed to say How long you’ve been a prisoner here? Solo Entombed in layers of pain, Nothing in, nothing out, A fortress built from doubt. Going deeper down I glimpse love and light Coming through the cracks of rejection. Chorus (vocals start at 04:57) I’m here to find you now, This is my reflection. What’s keeping you so bound? Refusing the connection? Come and take my hand Open up, open up let the light shine through peel a layer, just a little let it all come through It’s safe to take the chance. Hey, What are you doing? Tearing down these walls only meant to keep you safe from yourself Floodgates break against my will. Emotions rising, I must stop the spill for your own good I welcome my feelings they are free to come and go I will take the risk Please move aside I am not your enemy you have served me well all those years but now I'm ready to let go Chorus I’m here to find you now, This is my reflection. What’s keeping you so bound? Refusing the connection? Come and take my hand Open up, open up let the light shine through peel the layer, just a little let it all come through It’s safe to take the chance.
