Next question - same project. If I set talent needed to, say, "Melody Writer", then I do a "Find Artists" search by talent of "Melody Writer", I should a list of members that got an email saying their talents are needed on my project, right?

Yeah, if you chose Melody Writer as a talent, then everyone who has 'Melody Writer' as their talent will get an email stating that their talents are needed for your project.
