You can't delete the topic once it is created, nor can you delete the first post that you make in that topic. However, you can delete anything after that. But, you should certainly keep this up as others might have similar questions regarding the notifications.

By the way, try to delete your website now. Just delete whatever url is in that text box, then press save changes. Let me know if it works.
