Started playing 1965 started working pro late seventies through to mid 2009 now working as a composer and sometimes session player/producer.
I dont have a lot to say about myself in print I find it odd to write about myself so I'd rather let my playing and writing do the talking. It's sometimes sublime and elegant and sometimes like a drunk falling of a barstool :)

I record with Reaper and wavelab I use Melda waves and Ik Multimedia plugins. I use focusrite DAC and can accommodate most sample rates.
For making sounds I use 12 string acoustic,6 string acoustic ( Fender) 6 string classical ( custom made) Strat,Les paul and a vintage that I don't know the model of(it's old and weathered) Mandolin (Ozark ) Irish Lute ( custom made) Pbass (Fender) a number of whistles high and low D clarinet and a bodhran .
For keys I use an alesis q49 to run a number of synths and samplers including a fairly large Kontakt library. Last but not least AKG tube mics for vocals.
This all runs through an i7 desktop with 10 gigs of ram and 7 terabytes of hard drive running at 3.7 gig on a quad core using three wide screen monitors and a 60 inch plasma- I also own a tascam that works with tape :). That's about it really
