Hi, my name is Sean Nolan and I am a songwriter/musician from Kilkenny Ireland. I have been passionate about writing songs since my late teens and recorded my first solo album in the early 90's. I am also privileged to be able to say that I have been teaching and passing on a love of music as my main source of income for longer than I care to mention!
Whilst I have performed professionally in the past, this is not the route that I have chosen to pursue, due partially to the diagnosis of a Ewing's sarcoma two years after the birth of my son.
I am first and foremost a dog person and was delighted to successfully release a Christmas charity single in 2014 in aid of a local dog shelter.
I am currently at a stage in my life that I find myself able to devote a greater percentage of my resources to my first and abiding love of crafting songs. I am interested in collaborating with other song writers to expand my repertoire and more particularly hearing my songs performed by artists/bands.
In conclusion, my songs are very personal, written from the heart, and because of that I feel they have a world wide appeal, human emotions being universal after all. We all laugh, cry, love, hurt, sing.....
