Ben began his musical journey at the age of 6 on the piano and is classically trained after 10 years of study and practise. During primary school he was selected as a student to be part of the instrumental music program where he was taught the clarinet. Continuing the instrumental music program through high school he performed in the Senior Concert Band as a first clarinettist.

After graduating from school he continued his passion for music learning the guitar, bass, drums and continued to perform in music groups(bands) such as, Four Minute Mile, Enkounter, Here Come The Cavalry, Opine. Four Minute Mile was ben's first punk band which successfully opened the show for world class acts the Veronica's and Evermore in his own home town. The opportunity arrived again with Here Come The Cavalry who opened up for Hand's Like Houses in Singapore at Universal Studio's.

Deciding to take the next leap in his passion for music, Ben moved towards the more technical part of Sound Audio Engineering, studying and graduating at SAE PERTH.
