Gustavo Riani, Musician since 1985, became known in the Minas Gerais/Brazil scene for his talent as an instrumentalist,
arranger and for his work with several bands and musicians from the region.
In his curriculum are bands of Rock'n'Roll, Pop, Country, Heavy Metal, Prog Metal, Progressive, Blues,
showing his resourcefulness for these styles.
He studied at the Centro Cultural Pró-Música-Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, where he would later be a professor,
focusing its efforts on children and young people, training musicians and people.
Among the highlights are the courses "Brazilian Music for Double Bass" by Adriano Giffoni,
"Harmonia Applied to Popular Music (guitar, electric guitar, organ and other instruments)" by Almir Chediak,
"Bass Secrets" by Billy Sheehan, "Modern Electric Bass" by Jaco Pastorius,
"Progressive Bassics" by Gary Willis, "Improvisation Workshop, Tips, Ideas and Performance" by Celso Pixinga.
A few years ago, Gustavo Riani returned to study music, arrangement and music production.
He is currently the bassist for Banda Arqueus and maintains the VSTi Project with virtual instruments where
he composes, arranges, produces, edits, mixes and masters. Links:
