Cyndi Lauper is such an icon. She has been my idol since her 'She's So Unusual' album came out. Hat Full of Stars is one of my favorite songs that she's ever written - the whole album is amazing. I'm such a freakin' fangirl. :)

I'm a big fan too! Product of Misery & Sally's Pigeons are great songs as well! Have you seen her live? So good! :-)

I love those songs! I must have replayed Sally's Pigeons a hundred times when I first bought the album. I haven't had the chance to see her live, but I'm sure I would probably faint, haha.

Ha! She puts on a powerful performance and usually has a story before each song. I think she is doing another one of her "Home for the Holidays" Christmas show near you. ;-)

I was lucky enough to see both Bowie and Queen live, Freddie was the most unbelievable live performer as was Bowie. I had the luckiest student job when I was younger (a long time back) working at Hammersmith Odeon in London (now known as the Apollo) showing people to their seats on gig nights, then getting to watch the set........... saw some amazing bands and really broadened my musical undestanding, because to work in the “big bands” nights you had to do the “small” bands as well :)

Wow, that sounds like an incredible job - the benefits alone are worth it! :)

That's quite a list! Journey is on my list, but it would have to be with Steve Perry though. ;-)
