Alice Cooper was the first concert I ever saw; Madison Square Garden, 1973. I was 12. I haven't been the same since. ;) Those early Alice Cooper records (Love It To Death, Killer, School's Out, Billion Dollar Babies) were masterpieces.

Very cool, Jim! My Dad took me to the Operation Rock and Roll tour back in the early 90's. Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Metal Church, & Dangerous Toys. It was amazing!

Just a bit of trivia for you. The original album cover for "Love it to Death" was banned by Warner Brothers. The few original covers that got released are collector's items. He stuck his thumb out of his zipper. People back in those days were outraged. They had to touch up the photo and re-release the album.

Haha! I'll tell ya, my dad might have been MIA for the majority of my life but hec, one thing that I'll always remember & appreciate are all the amazing concerts and Broadway shows he took me to when I was growing up. And what better song to go into, which is a fave of mine no doubt.

That Harry Chapin song fails to mention that even if you do spend time with your kids they ignore you later on anyway.
