Eagles of Death Metal - Save A Prayer

Yes! Actually the whole album is great. These guys prove that melody and feel is everything, and that's what for me music is about. It's my favorite album of the moment. And that has nothing to do with them getting publicity form the unfortunate events that took place in Paris, that they were involved in.

"Major Tom, a fictional creation of Bowie, discovers a black star. It should be noted that the character is a representation of Bowie himself so we can draw parallels with this video to reality. When Tom's bedazzled skull is discovered, the woman takes it and essentially starts worshiping it. He becomes an idol. However, the video is intercut with Bowie blindfolded with false eyes and holding what looks like a Satanic bible. David Bowie, the pop star is a figure of the occult (hidden) because of his genius but he is just as blind as anyone else. He becomes a misinformed Jesus of sorts for the masses, as represented by the three scarecrows (it closely resembles Jesus' crucifixion)." -poontang3zizo

The master of symbolism, he was brilliant, simply brilliant! I'm going to watch Labyrinth for the 200th time tonight, sigh.

Oh my god! That movie was so good. Had to watch it for uni a while back to do an analysis on the story structure (The Hero's Journey). Loved to watch it again and am going to watch it again very soon!
